We are seeking a Regional Director Sales based in France. As part of the Worldwide Sales team, you are handling global accounts. Your heart beats for commercial activities and you are excited when developing strategic alliances and building genuine connections with your clients. You are the mastermind for strategic planning of activities towards client engagement to drive revenue and business to our member hotels. The main areas of your activities are:

  • Achieve a Business travel transient room night target from an agreed account portfolio.

  • Search, identify and bring on new accounts to develop.

  • Achieve agreed corporate meeting (Group) targets.


Your key-responsibilities are: 

  • With direction from Sales leadership, develop effective sales strategies to achieve your targets.

  • Develop a short, medium and long term strategic plan of activities of a range of client engagement to drive relationships and business to our member hotels.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and have overall responsibility of the revenue and room night generation and growth of these accounts according to their target.

  • Travel as needed to visit clients to win new and develop existing business and support team members.

  • Utilise Salesforce as advised for database, activities and reporting as required.

  • Pro-actively searches for new business Accounts and grows them once identified.

  • Review budget and P&L monthly to ensure spend is in line with the agreed budget.

Job requirements

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in Hotel Sales preferably in the Business Travel market segment.

  • 5 years of Corporate sales related experience in a senior sales position at a Global Hotel Company. 

  • Luxury, international Hotel experience preferred.

  • Solid organisational and planning skills.

  • Ability to translates broad strategic thinking and analysis into a clear course of action.

  • Autonomously and proactively managing key accounts and developing mid-tier accounts.

  • Understanding and navigating the corporate RFP process, including IT systems associated with this segment (Cvent Transient, HRS etc.).

  • Working and communicating effectively with corporate clients and hotels from varied and diverse backgrounds.

  • Effective presentation skills, both digital and live including professional preparation of Powerpoint slides and guiding documents. 

  • Positive can-do mentality.

  • Ability to influence internal and external decision makers.

  • Fluent in French and English, other languages are a plus.
